There Is A Solution

And you don’t have to find it alone.

The only requirement is a desire to stop drinking.

Be honest about two things:

When you truly want to stop, do you find you can’t?

And once you start, do you find it’s hard to stop where you meant to?

If either one rings true — you’re not weak, and you’re not alone.

A real person answers.

“I’m not sure I’m that bad.”

You don’t have to be sure, and you don’t have to lose everything first. If drinking is causing problems in your life, that’s reason enough for you to come and listen.

“I don’t want to quit forever.”

Forever is an imaginary place. Fear lives there but you don’t have to. Today is real. And if even that sounds too long? Many of us do this 15 minutes at a time in the beginning.

“I don’t think I belong here.”

However you got here, there’s a place at this table for you.

“I’m scared.”

Everyone at their first meeting was too. They came anyway, and someone sat with them. Someone will sit with you.

The door is open. Whenever you’re ready.
